Where to Stay

Ballycastle has the full range of accommodation you’d expect from a coastal town on the Causeway Coastal Route — hotels, guest houses, B&Bs, self-catering cottages, camping and caravan parks, and a youth hostel, mostly concentrated in the town itself and along the coast road toward Ballintoy.

Verified, currently open

• The Salthouse — waterfront hotel in Ballycastle with two on-site restaurants.
• Marine Hotel, Ballycastle — seafront hotel, currently open and trading (it closed temporarily at one point, so worth confirming directly if it’s been a while since you checked).
• Glass Island, Beechwood Avenue — boutique luxury B&B, ranked #1 of Ballycastle’s B&Bs on TripAdvisor, two minutes’ walk from the harbour and beach.
• The Fullerton Arms, Ballintoy — recently renovated guesthouse and restaurant on the Main Street, with one of the original Game of Thrones doors on display.
• Whitepark Bay Youth Hostel, Ballintoy — now run by Hostelling International Northern Ireland, overlooking Whitepark Bay.
• Watertop Farm — caravan and camping pitches alongside the working farm.
• Limepark, Armoy — restored farmstead self-catering cottages.

For everything else

Small, family-run B&Bs and guest houses turn over often — new ones open, others retire or change hands — which is exactly why a static list goes stale fast (see the note above). For the current, full range, a live booking platform like Booking.com or the Causeway Coast & Glens tourism board’s own listings will always be more accurate than anything fixed on this page.
